Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Caldwell for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Wednesday, March 20. Bandys will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-8 league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Newton-Conover falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Red devils host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to battle the Bears in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Bunker Hill lost 12-4 in their recent league challenge against Maiden (Maiden, NC)
