The High Point Central Bison softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles to 4 in the Bison league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, High Point Central improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bison travel to Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to clash with the Camels in a Mid-State 3A game on Thursday, March 21. The Camels come into the game with a record of 1-4. Atkins lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) in a Mid-State 3A game, on Thursday, March 21. Ben L. Smith will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 7-0 league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
