Illinois High School Softball - St. Teresa nudges Blue Ridge

March 19, 2024: Decatur, IL 62526

St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. St. Teresa will face a Senators squad coming off a 18-0 league win over MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Senators record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Iroquois West (Gilman, IL) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
