The Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) softball routed the host Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), 9-2 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Polar Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Cooper held off Villa Madonna (Covington, KY), 15-0, in a non-league bout.
The Royals now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Campbell County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 20. Mason County will confront a Camels squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Camels record now stands at 2-2.
