The Shallowater Mustangs softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Childress Bobcats to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Shallowater moves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Abernathy (Abernathy, TX) to clash with the Antelopes in a 3A Region I District 2 game on Saturday, March 23. The Antelopes come into the game with a record of 0-9. In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 game, on Saturday, March 23. Childress will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 15-5 record after their 8-6 league win over Liberty (Lubbock, TX).
