With the triumph, Columbus moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Cardinals host Edna (Edna, TX) to clash with the Cowboys in a 3A Region IV District 25 game on Friday, March 22. The Cowboys come into the game with a record of 3-8. Edna lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 game, on Saturday, March 23. Yoakum will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Sharks come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 11-0 league loss to Tidehaven (El Maton, TX).
