Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Green Wave now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westside for a AAAA Region 1 challenge on Friday, March 22. Easley will battle a Rams squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Greenwood (Greenwood, SC). The Rams record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Wren falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Blue Ridge (Greer, SC) to battle the Fighting Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. The Fighting Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Blue Ridge lost 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Chapman (Inman, SC)
