The East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) softball routed the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), 12-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, West Forsyth toppled Davie (Mocksville, NC), 2-0, in a league bout.
The Greyhounds now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ashe County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 20. North Surry will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-3.
