The Wesson Cobras softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Franklin County Bulldogs to 0 in the Cobras league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Wesson moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Cobras host South Pike (Magnolia, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A Region 7 game on Thursday, March 21. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-0.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS) in a 3A Region 7 game, on Thursday, March 21. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
