The Temple Wildcats softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Harker Heights Knights to 5 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Temple improves its record to 11-14 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX) to clash with the Bulldawgs in a 6A Region II District 12 game on Friday, March 22. The Bulldawgs come into the game with a record of 11-4. Copperas Cove won 15-8 in their recent league game against Hutto (Hutto, TX)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 game, on Tuesday, March 26. Harker Heights will attempt to improve on its 10-15 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 16-4 record after their 15-3 league win over Weiss (Pflugerville, TX).
