The St. Stephens Indians softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes to 6 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, St. Stephens moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Indians host West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Western Foothills 3A game on Monday, March 25. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-4. West Iredell lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Foard (Newton, NC)

In their next game, the Red Tornadoes clash with the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A game, on Monday, March 25. Hickory will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 11-8 league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC).
