Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hart County for a District 18 challenge on Thursday, March 21. Larue County will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, John Hardin falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Nelson County (Bardstown, KY) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
