Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to A&M Consolidated for a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, March 22. Lake Creek will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Magnolia falls to 15-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to battle the Bears in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, March 22. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Montgomery lost 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Brenham (Brenham, TX)
