Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Randle Lions (Richmond, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Bend Willowridge for a 5A Region III District 20 challenge on Friday, March 22. Lamar Consolidated will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Randle falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Foster (Richmond, TX) to battle the Falcons in a 5A Region III District 20 challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 13-4.
