Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA), 15-1 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eunice for a 4A District 3 challenge on Thursday, March 21. Rayne will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 16-0 league win over LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Leesville falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Wampus cats travel to Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA) to face the Charging Indians in a 4A District 3 challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Charging Indians enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Washington-Marion lost 19-0 in their recent league challenge against DeRidder (DeRidder, LA)
