Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) and the visiting Warren Bears (Downey, CA), witnessed Mayfair's softball squad prevail over Warren by a count of 9-1.

The Monsoons now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Gahr for a Gateway match on Thursday, March 21. Mayfair will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Warren moves to 6-9 on the season. The Bears travel to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA) to face the Matadores in a Gateway match on Thursday, March 21. The Matadores go into the match with a record of 12-4. La Mirada won 2-0 in their recent league match against Downey (Downey, CA)
