Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) and the host Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC), witnessed West Stokes's softball squad tip Morehead by a count of 7-5.

The Wildcats now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host T.W. Andrews for a Mid-State 2A test on Thursday, March 21. West Stokes will encounter a Red Raiders team coming off a 14-0 league win over North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-3.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Bethany tipped Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC), 12-1, in a non-league test.
