Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maurepas for a B District 7 challenge on Wednesday, March 20. Mt. Hermon will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Holden (Holden, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Salmen falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Spartans host Pine (Franklinton, LA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Pine won 17-10 in their recent league challenge against Sumner (Kentwood, LA)
