Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Quitman Panthers (Quitman, MS), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Caledonia for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. Northeast Lauderdale will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Louisville (Louisville, MS). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Quitman falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Forest (Forest, MS) to face the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Forest lost 15-7 in their recent league challenge against Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS)
