Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) and the visiting South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC), witnessed Northwestern's softball squad prevail over South Pointe by a count of 11-0.

The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Catawba Ridge for a AAAA Region 3 match on Thursday, March 21. Northwestern will face a Copperheads squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, South Pointe moves to 0-4 on the season. The Stallions host York (York, SC) to face the Cougars in a AAAA Region 3 match on Friday, March 22. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 4-2. York lost 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Clover (Clover, SC)
