Alabama High School Softball - Oneonta tipped by West End

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host West End Patriots softball squad scored a tight 5-3 win over the Oneonta Redskins.

The Patriots now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sand Rock for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. West End will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-2 league win over Collinsville (Collinsville, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Oneonta falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Cherokee County (Centre, AL) to battle the Warriors in a 4A Area 12 challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 11-2. Cherokee County won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Etowah (Attalla, AL)
