The Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL) softball routed the visiting Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL), 14-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Patriots (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Holtville (Deatsville, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record.

The Panthers now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Beauregard for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 21. Smiths Station will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Elmore County (Eclectic, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 12-4.
