The Ponder Lions routed the visiting Valley View Eagles softball squad by a final score of 7-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Lions (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Pilot Point was routed by Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 10 battle on Friday, March 22. Valley View will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 17-5.
