Trinity Trojans (Euless, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host Boswell for a 6A Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, March 22. Trinity will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Weatherford falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Kangaroos host Boswell (Fort Worth, TX) to battle the Pioneers in a 6A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 6-2.
