California High School Baseball - Hoover holds off Torres

The Hoover Patriots baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Torres Toros to 1 in the Patriots league win on Wednesday.

The Patriots now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Roosevelt for a North Yosemite test on Friday, March 21. Hoover will play a Rough Riders team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 9-2.

With the defeat, Torres drops to 0-7 on the year. The Toros travel to Roosevelt (Fresno, CA) to play the Rough Riders in a North Yosemite test on Saturday, March 22. The Rough Riders go into the test with a record of 9-2. Roosevelt won 15-4 in their recent non-league test against Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA)
