The Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) baseball trounced the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), 15-6 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Indians now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial challenge on Friday, March 21. Lehighton will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Palmerton drops to 0-1 on the year. The Blue bombers host Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Colonial challenge on Friday, March 21. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Northern Lehigh lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA)
