In Wednesday's non-league game, the host McAdory Yellowjackets baseball team scored a nice 17-2 victory over the Minor Tigers.
The Yellowjackets (14-8) will now prepare for their game against Springville (Springville, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 15-3 record. In their last game, Springville defeated Brookwood (Brookwood, AL), 5-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers face the Jackson-Olin Mustangs (Birmingham, AL) in a 6A Area 9 game, on Wednesday, March 19. Minor will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 1-17 record after their 15-0 league loss to Minor (Adamsville, AL).
