North Carolina High School Baseball - Perquimans wallops North East Carolina Prep

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the host North East Carolina Prep Husky (Tarboro, NC), saw Perquimans's baseball team gain a win over North East Carolina Prep by a tally of 16-3.

The Pirates (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, D.H. Conley prevailed over Havelock (Havelock, NC), 13-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Husky face the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 24. North East Carolina Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Seahawks enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC).
