The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) baseball trounced the host Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA), 12-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Moravian Academy for a Colonial challenge on Friday, March 21. Northwestern Lehigh will clash with a Lions team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Northern Lehigh drops to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Palmerton (Palmerton, PA) to clash with the Blue Bombers in a Colonial challenge on Friday, March 21.
