The Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Pearl River Central Blue Devils to 4 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bowling Green for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Oak Forest Academy will clash with a Buccaneers team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-5.
With the defeat, Pearl River Central drops to 9-7 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Terry (Terry, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 6A Region 3 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 4-10.
