The Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) baseball the host Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA), 11-7 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Tattnall County for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Statesboro will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 17-14 non-league win over Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-11.
With the defeat, Screven County drops to 11-4 on the year. The Gamecocks host Metter (Metter, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a A D2 Region 3 challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Metter lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA)
