Arizona High School Volleyball - McClintock over Alhambra

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) and the visiting Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ), observed McClintock's volleyball team top Alhambra by a count of 3-0.

The Chargers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons enter the 5A Metro contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Carl Hayden Community was knocked off by Verrado (Buckeye, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro contest, on Friday, March 21. Alhambra will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Fairfax (Laveen, AZ).
