In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Lynbrook Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Monta Vista Matadors.

The Vikings (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Wildcats come into the SCVAL - De Anza challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Los Gatos lost by Harker (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Matadors meet the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) in a SCVAL - De Anza challenge, on Friday, March 21. Monta Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Cupertino (Cupertino, CA).
