North Carolina High School Soccer - Providence Grove nudged by Central Davidson

Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Central Davidson advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-3. Chatham Charter won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
The Patriots now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, March 24. Providence Grove will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
