Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Smoky Mountain moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a Mountain Seven 3A test on Monday, March 24. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 4-1. West Henderson won 4-1 in their recent league test against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)

The Bears now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Erwin for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Pisgah will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
