In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), by a score of 9-2.
Next up, the Bobcats encounter the Fellowship Christian Paladins (Roswell, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 22. Gilmer will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Paladins enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA).
The Panthers (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Rabun County edged Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA), 15-6, in a non-league bout.
