The Chester Cyclones softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Blacksburg Wildcats to 4 in the Cyclones non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cyclones now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfield Central for a battle on Friday, March 21. Chester will confront a Griffins team coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, SC). The Griffins record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Blacksburg moves to 0-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Lewisville (Richburg, SC) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
