The Central Kitsap Cougars softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Abes to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Thurston for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. Central Kitsap will confront a Rams team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Lincoln moves to 0-2 on the season. The Abes host River Ridge (Lacey, WA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 0-1. River Ridge lost 10-9 in their recent non-league battle against Stadium (Tacoma, WA)
