The Episcopal Maroon lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals to 3 in the Maroon non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Maroon now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Paul VI for a Washington Catholic outing on Saturday, March 22. Episcopal will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Bishop Ireton falls to 2-2 on the year. The Cardinals host West Potomac (Alexandria, VA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 26. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
