California High School Lacrosse - El Modena can't get by Esperanza

In Wednesday's league test, the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) lacrosse team edged the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), by a count of 9-8.

Next up, the Aztecs battle the Crean Lutheran Saints (Irvine, CA) in a Crestview test, on Thursday, March 20. Esperanza will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Saints enter the test with a 9-1 record after their 15-6 non-league win over Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA).

The Vanguards (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Hart (Newhall, CA). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Hart was tipped by Valencia (Valencia, CA), 13-6, in a league test.
