The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX), observed Del Valle's softball team prevail over Bel Air by a tally of 11-1.

The Conquistadores (13-9) will now prepare for their bout against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions go into the 5A Region I District 2 bout with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, Horizon was routed by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 11-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, March 21. Bel Air will attempt to advance on its 4-18 season record. The Aztecs go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX).
