North Carolina High School Softball - Triton sneaks past Cape Fear

March 19, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28312

The Triton Hawks softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Cape Fear Colts to 16 in the Hawks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Hawks now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terry Sanford for a All American 3A/4A match on Thursday, March 20. Triton will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 19-1 league loss to Triton (Erwin, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

In their next game, the Colts battle the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A match, on Friday, March 21. Cape Fear will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Tigers go into the match with a 7-2 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Midway (Dunn, NC).
