Mississippi High School Softball - Riverside bounces Clarksdale

The Riverside Bulldogs softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Clarksdale Wildcats to 11 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Bannon for a 2A Region 3 battle on Thursday, March 20.

With the loss, Clarksdale moves to 5-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to confront the Commodores in a 5A Region 1 battle on Thursday, March 20. The Commodores come into the battle with a record of 9-3. Lafayette won 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against West Union (Myrtle, MS)
