The Pebble Hills Spartans softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Coronado Thunderbirds to 1 in the Spartans league win on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastwood for a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, March 25. Pebble Hills will confront a Troopers team coming off a 19-9 league win over Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Troopers record now stands at 22-2.

With the loss, Coronado moves to 9-15 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Montwood (El Paso, TX) to confront the Rams in a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 19-6. Montwood won 25-7 in their recent league battle against Franklin (El Paso, TX)
