With the triumph, Croatan improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Cougars host White Oak (Jacksonville, NC) to face the Vikings in a Coastal 3A game on Friday, March 21. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 4-3. White Oak lost 9-4 in their recent non-league game against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC)

The Mariners now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Jones for a Coastal Plains 1A/2A game on Thursday, March 20. East Carteret will face a Trojans squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
