Louisiana High School Softball - Edna Karr bested by Mt. Carmel

The Mt. Carmel Cubs triumphed over the host Edna Karr Cougars softball squad by a count of 20-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Cubs meet the Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record.
The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks enter the 5A District 9 challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Chapelle was routed by Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA), 7-6, in a league challenge.
