The Mt. Spokane Wildcats overwhelmed the visiting Ferris Saxons softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Mt. Spokane will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 18-16 league loss to Shadle Park (Spokane, WA).
The Saxons (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA). The Bears go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Central Valley toppled Mead (Spokane, WA), 29-1, in a league challenge.
