The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), observed Hanks's softball team prevail over Horizon by a tally of 11-1.

The Knights (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors go into the 5A Region I District 2 bout with a 12-10 record. In their last bout, Parkland knocked off Horizon (El Paso, TX), 18-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Scorpions clash with the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, March 21. Horizon will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Conquistadores go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 11-1 league win over Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
