The John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Wenonah Dragons to 0 in the Cavaliers league win on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sipsey Valley for a 5A Area 9 battle on Thursday, March 20. John Carroll Catholic will confront a Bears team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to West Blocton (West Blocton, AL). The Bears record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Wenonah moves to 0-2 on the season. The Dragons host Parker (Birmingham, AL) to confront the Thundering Herd in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. The Thundering Herd come into the battle with a record of 10-4. Parker won 1-0 in their recent non-league battle against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL)
