California High School Softball - Sacramento succumbs to Pioneer

March 19, 2025: Woodland, CA 95776

In Wednesday's league test, the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sacramento Dragons (Sacramento, CA), by a tally of 21-0.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) in a Monticello Empire League test, on Friday, March 21. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA).

The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Monticello Empire League challenge with a 4-4 record.
